Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using the Jag My Chef mobile application and services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Use of Services
Jag My Chef provides a platform for clients to:
- Schedule private chef appointments with Chef Jag
- Browse and select from weekly menu offerings
- Communicate directly with Chef Jag
- Access ingredient lists and nutritional information
- Manage appointment bookings and preferences
User Account and Registration
To access certain features of the app, you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your password and account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account
Booking and Cancellation Policy
Bookings:
All appointments must be booked through the Jag My Chef app or via the consultation booking system. Confirmation will be provided once your booking is accepted.
Cancellations:
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment may incur a cancellation fee.
Rescheduling:
Appointments may be rescheduled subject to Chef Jag's availability and with reasonable advance notice.
Payment Terms
You agree to:
- Pay all fees associated with your use of our services
- Provide valid payment information and keep it up to date
- Pay for services as agreed upon during the consultation or booking process
- Cover any additional costs for special requests or ingredient sourcing if agreed upon in advance
Service Expectations
Chef Responsibilities:
- Prepare meals according to agreed-upon menu
- Use professional culinary techniques and food safety practices
- Clean the kitchen after meal preparation
- Provide proper storage instructions for prepared meals
Client Responsibilities:
- Provide a clean, functional kitchen with necessary equipment
- Communicate dietary restrictions and allergies clearly
- Be present or provide access to the home during scheduled appointments
- Purchase ingredients if that option was selected, or allow Chef Jag to handle ingredient procurement
Dietary Restrictions and Allergies
It is your responsibility to communicate all dietary restrictions, allergies, and food sensitivities clearly and completely. While Chef Jag takes great care to accommodate your needs, you acknowledge that cross-contamination may occur and that you use the service at your own risk if you have severe allergies.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jag My Chef and Chef Jag shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of our services.
Intellectual Property
All content included in the app, such as text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Jag My Chef or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use our services to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Transmit any harmful, threatening, or offensive content
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of our services
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the app
- Use the service for any commercial purpose without consent
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to our services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in our jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
